Warmed Omari, the 25-year-old defender, finds his future uncertain upon returning to Stade Rennais. After a challenging loan period at Olympique Lyonnais last season, where he managed only four appearances and a mere 277 minutes on the field across all competitions, the former French youth international, now representing Comoros, is reportedly no longer central to Rennes` plans.
Despite having played 94 matches for Les Rennais, his tenure at the club might be drawing to a close. According to reports from L’Équipe, Omari has attracted the attention of Hamburg, a club recently promoted to the Bundesliga. Although under contract with Rennes until summer 2027, the Ligue 1 outfit is reportedly amenable to a transfer if a satisfactory offer is put forward.
Negotiations between Hamburg and Rennes are currently underway to finalize a deal for the defender, indicating a potential move to Germany for the young player.
