Hardik Pandya ruled out of match against New Zealand ICC Cricket World Cup 2023

Hardik Pandya ruled out of match against New Zealand ICC Cricket World Cup 2023. Prior to their play against New Zealand in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023, India suffered a serious setback when Hardik Pandya was declared ineligible for Men in Blue’s upcoming Dharmasala match. Hardik was hurt during India vs. Bangladesh and was taken to the National Cricket Academy in Bengaluru.

The Indian Express reports that Pandya will receive care at the NCA from an English specialized physician. It is known that Hardik will receive injections, which may help him feel better and enable him to play in the World Cup.

The Indian all-rounder is anticipated to report to the Indian camp in Lucknow prior to the India vs. England match on October 29, although he will miss India’s highly anticipated match against table-toppers New Zealand.

During India’s 7-wicket victory over Bangladesh in Pune, Hardik Pandya suffered a twisted ankle while bowling.

The Indian Express stated that the star all-rounder will be sent to Bengaluru’s National Cricket Academy, where he will be treated by English medical specialists. Hardik is anticipated to recuperate in time for the October 29 ODI World Cup 2023 match between India and England in Lucknow, following a much-needed seven-day rest.

After getting hurt, Pandya was sent for scanning. He later returned to the squad, but he was observed sitting in the changing room with the physiotherapist, meaning he missed the entire match.

So far in the World Cup, Hardik has been India’s go-to choice for pace bowling. He has taken significant wickets for India in their campaign, and his absence throughout New Zealand could be felt by the team.

Hardik Pandya hurt his left ankle trying to stop a ball with his feet during an over he was bowling in the first innings against Bangladesh.
