I was dubbed a bus driver by Nasser Hussain, says Indian cricketer. In the midst of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023, English pundit Nasser Hussain made headlines again on Sunday, this time due to remarks made about him by former Indian batsman Mohammad Kaif.

Former England captain Nasser Hussain, who commanded the team from 1999 to 2003, gained notoriety for his comments over the Three Lions’ appalling results in the current World Cup.

The pundit declared following England’s loss to Sri Lanka that it was the worst show he had ever seen, with England playing the worst they have in the current tournament. He continued by saying that it was the end of an era and that the side fell apart as a cohesive unit, their form deserting them.

Kevin Pietersen, a former cricket player, took issue with Nasser Hussain’s statements. As joy had been transmitted over the years by Jos Buttler’s side, he advised him to cease playing the “blame game.”

“We have had nothing but joy and excitement for many years thanks to this England white ball team. There seems to be a lot of negativity and “end of era” content these days. Well, that’s life if it is. Avoid assigning responsibility. He exclaimed, “You’re embarrassing if you do!”

Now, Mohammad Kaif remembered that in 2002, he and Nasser Hussain were involved in a fascinating event during cricket.

The former player for India said that great batsman Sachin Tendulkar referred to him as his “bus driver” while commentating on the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 match between hosts India and the reigning champions England.

Recalling the incident, Muhammad Kaif said, “I think he must drive the bus, I think he drives Tendulkar around the bus.”
