Australia (417 Runs)

He had good support from Steve Smith and Glenn Maxwell who scored 95 and 88 respectively.

 Instead, the inexperienced Afghan batsmen were bowled out for a paltry 142. They lasted just 37 overs and failed to score a single fifty. Mitchell Johnson was Australia’s man of the match, taking 4 wickets for 22 runs. He was well supported by Starc and Hazelwood who claimed two scalps each. The hosts won the match by a huge margin of 275 runs. It was the highest winning percentage of the entire tournament.

South Africa (411 Runs) 

The South African and Irish teams met in Canberra in one of the league matches. The Proteas batted first and put 411 on the board. Their star player Hashim Amla scored 159 and Faf du Plessis scored another important 109. 

The pair put their side in a good position with an excellent partnership of 247 for the second wicket. In the end, Riley Rossouw smashed a quick 61 runs in just 30 overs. They totally scored 411 runs.

South Africa (408 Runs)

The South African batsman performed very well in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015. This makes the Proteas the only team to score 400 or more runs on the scoreboard at the time of batting. 

The first of these was A.B. de Villiers scored 166 runs off just 66 deliveries. There are also other useful contributions from Hashim Amla (65), Faf du Plessis (62) and Riley Rossouw (61), lifting the Proteas to a staggering total. The West Indies batsman wanted to counter-attack right from the start of the innings.

 However, the move backfired as they continued to lose wickets regularly from the start. The Caribbean innings ended with 151 runs in just 33 overs. Imran Tahir bowled beautifully for five West Indies wickets as South Africa won the match by 257 runs. One of the 5 highest scores in Cricket World Cup 2015.

New Zealand (393 Runs) 

In the final quarter-finals of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 in Wellington, the Kiwis faced the West Indies for a place in the semi-final. The New Zealanders scored 393 points. 

Their attacking opener Martin Guptill scored the most runs with 237 runs off 163 deliveries. Now another Kiwi batsman has scored 50 despite hitting big. They totally scored 393 runs.

Australia (376 Runs)

The Australians and the Sri Lankans clash during the day and night matches of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 in Sydney. Australia decided to bat first and put 376 on the scoreboard. The hosts lost early wickets quickly but Glenn Maxwell made it a match by turning innings of 102 off 53 balls. Steve Smith, who scored 72 runs in the middle order, also had healthy contributions from Michael Clark (68 runs) and Shane Watson (67 runs).

 On the other hand, Sri Lankan batsmen have started the chase nicely. Kumar Sangakkara and Tillakaratne Dilshan scored 130 runs for second place. Sangakkara scored 104 and Dilshan had a short run of 62 innings. The lower middle class could not cope with the pressure on the scoreboard and the collection rate. So the entire team was set to score 312 runs from 46 overs. Most Australian bowlers do well, James Faulkner takes 3 wickets. Australia won the game by 64 runs.
