ICC World Cup 2023: Game Conditions and teams for Pakistan vs. New Zealand warm-up. At the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad, Pakistan will take on New Zealand in the ICC Cricket World Cup warm-up game on September 29.
Two other exhibition matches are scheduled for the same day as Pakistan’s match versus New Zealand: Bangladesh will play Sri Lanka in Guwahati, and South Africa will play Afghanistan in Thiruvananthapuram.
For both Pakistan and New Zealand, playing in this game will be crucial for acclimating to the World Cup’s conditions. Today in Hyderabad, both sides participated in a practise session that mostly consisted of batting and bowling drills, followed by a fielding session. Live television coverage of the game will begin at 1:30 p.m. (Pakistan Standard Time).

Playing Environment
The warm-up matches will include 50 overs per side, as they have in previous ICC Cricket World Cup competitions. The sides will have the freedom to include all 15 members of their squad in the starting XI, hence these games won’t qualify as ODIs.

It should be mentioned that there won’t be any onlookers at the game. This choice was made in response to advice from Hyderabad’s local security officials because the match would take place there during one of the city’s major celebrations.
The simultaneous celebration of both events is anticipated to bring sizable crowds, thus it was decided to play the game in a private setting as a precaution.
The second exhibition match between Pakistan and Australia will take place on October 3 at the same location. There will be spectators for this match.
