ICC World Cup 2023 Official Vehicle: Nissan Magnite has been announced. Nissan has renewed its long-standing relationship with the International Cricket Council (ICC) for the eighth consecutive year, solidifying its status as the event’s official sponsor. This eagerly awaited ICC event, which will take place in India from October 5 to November 19, 2023, has selected the Nissan Magnite as its official vehicle. Nissan has unveiled a special edition of the Magnite called the “Kuro” edition to commemorate this big partnership with the World Cup.

Nissan is proudly displaying the Magnite as the official vehicle at the stadium as a way of demonstrating its unwavering support for the competition. The manufacturer also has intriguing plans to advertise other events, such as a trophy tour that will visit several towns in India and feature a 3D copy of the trophy. 

Cricket fans will have the exceptional chance to take 360-degree pictures of the prized trophy. Customers who take selfies with the special edition Magnite Kuro while it is on display during the trophy tour will be entered to win match tickets.

With its 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay compatibility, 7-inch digital instrument cluster, automatic air conditioning with rear vents, wireless phone charger, air purifier, JBL speakers, ambient lighting, and puddle lamps, the Nissan Magnite offers a wide range of features. 

A variety of common safety features, such as an electronic stability program (ESP), traction control system (TCS), hill start assist (HSA), and a tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS), are well-equipped on the Magnite. Its safety kit also includes dual front airbags and a 360-degree camera.

For the Magnite, Nissan gives consumers two different engine options: a 1-liter normally aspirated engine with 72PS/96Nm of torque and a 1-liter turbo-petrol engine with 100PS and up to 160Nm of torque. The turbo-petrol version adds the choice of a CVT (Continuous Variable Transmission), while both engine options come with a basic 5-speed manual transmission.

The Nissan Magnite is available for purchase between Rs. 6 Lakh and Rs. 11.02 Lakh. In its segment, it is up against strong competition from the Maruti Brezza,Tata Nexon Facelift, Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, and Renault Kiger.
