India Beat Pakistan by 7 Wickets with 117 Balls to Spare in the ICC World Cup 2023

The dream of making it 7-0 has shattered one more as Pakistan lost their 8 matches in a row in the ICC World Cup since 1992 till 2023. Pakistan’s batting first collapsed from 155/2 to 191 all out in 42.5 overs. India chased down with ease for the loss of 3 wickets with 117 balls remaining. 

Rohit Sharma is in supreme form in the World Cup. He got to his 50 in style facing 36 balls. He made 86 for 63 balls with a strike rate of 136. He is the first Indian player to hit 300 plus sixes. The hitman hit 7 sixes.

India lost their first wicket at 23 when Shubman Gill was caught by Shadab Khan. Lost their 2nd wicket at 79 when Virat Kholu departed. India lost their 3rd wicket at 156 after Rohit departed batting brilliantly 

Pakistan batting first just managed to score 191 all out in 42.5 overs. A very bad performance when they were supposed to do well after the start they got. India is leading the points table and Pakistan needs to make a comeback in the match against Australia.
