According to Corriere dello Sport, Loïs Openda and Christopher Nkunku are key attacking targets for Inter Milan. The club`s new coach, Cristian Chivu, has specifically requested a creative forward to provide unpredictability in the final third, replacing Mehdi Taremi.
Inter aims to strengthen their forward options this summer, with RB Leipzig`s Openda and Chelsea`s Nkunku identified as potential recruits.
Corriere dello Sport suggests that Openda is currently slightly favoured over Nkunku, who has been out of favour at Chelsea. However, Chivu`s core demand remains a creative striker who can add an element of surprise to the attack, filling the role previously occupied by Taremi.
Inter has already signed Ange-Yoan Bonny from Parma and plans to keep Francesco Pio Esposito. However, they are looking to offload Taremi following a disappointing initial season at San Siro.
Inter Sets Spending Limit for New Striker
Regarding Taremi`s future, Corriere dello Sport indicates that Fulham, Nottingham Forest, and Besiktas have made inquiries about his availability. His agents have also reportedly offered his services to José Mourinho`s Fenerbahce.
Corriere dello Sport reports that Inter is reluctant to spend more than €30-€35 million on a new striker this summer. Their valuation for Taremi in a potential sale is estimated to be around €10 million.
