Following the recent round of European club matches, Serie A teams delivered a strong performance, collectively securing four wins, two draws, and only one defeat across the Champions League, Europa League, and Conference League. These latest results have placed Italy in the 8th position in the current UEFA coefficient ranking, a vital metric for determining which nations receive additional Champions League berths.

In the Champions League, Inter, Napoli, and Atalanta all clinched victories. Fiorentina also triumphed in their Conference League encounter. Meanwhile, Juventus played to a 2-2 draw with Villarreal in the Champions League. In the Europa League, Bologna earned a 1-1 draw against Freiburg, while Roma suffered a narrow 1-0 defeat to Lille.

The updated UEFA ranking currently shows Portugal leading, with England holding the second position. The two highest-ranked countries at the season`s end will be granted an additional Champions League qualification spot for the following campaign. Although Italy secured an extra Champions League place in the 2023-24 season, their current standing is 8th with 5.875 points.
