Kean Commits Future to Fiorentina with New Deal
In a statement released by the club, it was highlighted that “Moise joined the club at the start of the 2024/25 season and went on to score 25 goals in 44 appearances in all competitions in his debut campaign.”
Fiorentina President Rocco Commisso shared his thoughts on the extension: “From the moment we first sat down with Alessandro Ferrari and Daniele Prade to talk to Moise in Cagliari on April 21st, we conveyed how pleased we were with him and his performances. Simultaneously, I could see how much he valued Fiorentina and Florence, and how grateful he was. Since then, we`ve worked diligently and made significant financial efforts to retain him at the club by extending his contract. I am delighted with this decision, which benefits the club, our fans, and the player himself.”
Kean himself expressed gratitude for the support received: “I want to thank President Commisso and the management team for all the support they have given me since I arrived in Florence. Everyone has shown great faith in me, and I didn`t want to let anyone down, so I`ve given my absolute all. I also want to thank our fans for all their love and support. They have all greatly contributed to the results we achieved last season. Their love for this club serves as an incentive for me to strive for even better results this season, alongside the coach and my teammates.”
Previously, Kean`s contract included a release clause set at 52 million euros. According to Sky Sport, this figure has now increased to 62 million euros, and it will be active annually from July 1st to July 15th.
