In a rather unexpected move, Juan Cuadrado, a seasoned winger previously with top Italian clubs like Juventus, Inter, and Atalanta, has reportedly finalized a deal to join newly promoted Serie A side Pisa as a free agent.
Respected transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio of Sky Sport Italia reports that the Colombian international has agreed to a one-year contract with the club.
Having turned 37 in May, Cuadrado will be nearing his 38th birthday by the end of the upcoming season.
Though Valencia had shown interest, Cuadrado`s preference was to continue playing in Italy`s top flight.
Cuadrado: A Surprising Addition for Pisa

Pisa secured their promotion to Serie A by finishing second in Serie B last season, just behind Sassuolo, and are currently managed by Alberto Gilardino.
The experienced wide player was available on a free transfer after his one-year contract with Inter expired in June.
Cuadrado`s extensive career in Italian football began in 2009 when he moved from Independiente Medellin to Udinese.
His Serie A journey includes stints with Lecce, Fiorentina, and a successful tenure at Juventus, followed by a free transfer to Inter in 2023, where he contributed to their Scudetto triumph.

Throughout his career, Cuadrado has accumulated an impressive 395 Serie A appearances, netting 43 goals and providing 69 assists.
Additionally, he has played in 67 Champions League matches, 19 Europa League fixtures, and 36 Coppa Italia games.
