Juventus Confirms 2025-26 Champions League Squad, One Player Left Out

Football & Cricket

Juventus has officially announced its Champions League squad for the initial phase of the 2025-26 season. Notably, Arkadiusz Milik has been excluded from Igor Tudor`s selections, a decision that was largely anticipated.

According to UEFA regulations, all clubs participating in the 2025-26 Champions League were required to submit their official squad lists by Tuesday, September 2nd.

The Bianconeri`s announcement did not contain any major surprises. All of the club’s summer signings, including deadline day arrivals Edon Zhegrova and Lois Openda, have been included in the roster.

Dusan Vlahovic, despite being the subject of numerous transfer rumors throughout the summer, ultimately remained at the Allianz Stadium. He has been named in the squad alongside fellow centre-forwards Openda and Jonathan David.

Champions League rules dictate that participating teams must submit two distinct squads: List A and List B. List A permits a maximum of 25 players. Of these, eight must be `locally trained` (meaning they came through an academy in Italy), and at least four of those eight must be `club-trained` (having come through Juventus’s own academy system).

List B has no player limit and is designated for players born after January 1, 2004, who have been eligible to play for their club for an uninterrupted period of two years from the age of 15 upwards.

Curiously, Kenan Yildiz has been placed in Juventus’s List B rather than List A.
