Juventus Reportedly Targeting Wolves Midfielder André

Football & Cricket

According to reports from Sky Sport Italia, Juventus are considering Wolverhampton Wanderers midfielder André as a potential signing. However, this move is dependent on the club successfully selling Douglas Luiz.

It is widely known that the Bianconeri are aiming for a significant overhaul of their midfield roster following the arrival of new coach Igor Tudor.

André, who is set to celebrate his 24th birthday next week, is reportedly the latest player to emerge on their list of targets.

Wolves signed the Brazilian midfielder from Fluminense just a year ago for a fee of €22 million. In his debut Premier League season, he featured in 33 matches.

Potential Replacement for Douglas Luiz at Juventus

Sky Sport Italia indicates that André would only become a viable option for Juventus if they can first secure the departure of Douglas Luiz, whose transfer from Aston Villa last summer reportedly did not live up to expectations.

André`s playing style is noted as being similar to Douglas Luiz`s, and he brings valuable international experience, having earned 12 senior caps for the Brazil national team.

Should Juventus pursue the transfer, the expected asking price for André for a move to Serie A is reported to be upwards of €30 million.
