Juventus is reportedly eyeing Arnau Martinez, a right-back from Girona, as a potential successor to Timothy Weah. Martinez, also linked with Premier League club Crystal Palace, is a versatile 22-year-old defender capable of playing as a traditional right-back, wing-back, or even on the right side of a three-man defense.
Sources like Tuttosport indicate that Martinez, who spent six years in Barcelona`s youth system, could depart Girona this summer despite having two years remaining on his contract until 2027. A transfer fee estimated between €10 million and €12 million is believed to be sufficient to secure his services.

Interestingly, AC Milan had also shown interest in Martinez during the current transfer window, but the Rossoneri are now reportedly close to signing Swiss full-back Zachary Athekame from Young Boys instead.
While Juventus has already acquired Joao Mario as a new right-back this summer, coach Igor Tudor`s squad still faces a shortage of full-back options, particularly on the right flank. This need is further exacerbated by the imminent departure of Timothy Weah to Olympique de Marseille. Weekend reports suggest an agreement is in place for Weah`s loan move to Marseille, which includes an obligation to buy for approximately €18 million.
