Darko Kovacevic, a former forward for Juventus, has advised his countryman Dusan Vlahovic to depart the Turin club. Kovacevic suggested that AC Milan and Manchester United would be `good options` for the 25-year-old Serbian player.
Reports indicate that Juventus is willing to entertain offers for Vlahovic, primarily because the Serbian international is hesitant to extend his current contract, which is set to expire in 2026.
Speaking to Gazzetta, Kovacevic, who now serves as the sporting director for Olympiakos, shared his thoughts on the future prospects of the former Fiorentina star.
Kovacevic urges Vlahovic to move on from Juventus

“I’d tell Dusan to move right away. It’s not easy to leave Juventus, and I say that from personal experience,” Kovacevic commented. “However, sometimes you need to challenge yourself again to be happy and reach the top level. Someone like Vlahovic should always be a starter, whether at Juventus or elsewhere.”
When asked about the most suitable next destination for the Serbian striker, he added:
“We can’t afford him at Olympiakos, but Milan or Manchester United could be good options for Dusan,” Kovacevic replied. “Maybe even Nottingham Forest. Just joking, we share the same ownership, but I only work for Olympiakos.”
Kovacevic rates Vlahovic above Haaland and Osimhen

Juventus has recently signed Jonathan David from Lille on a free transfer and is reportedly negotiating with PSG to keep Randal Kolo Muani.
Regarding potential competition, Kovacevic stated: “Competition is never a problem. On the contrary, when I was at Juventus, we had five great strikers,” he concluded. “Cabella, a former teammate of David at Lille, spoke very highly of the Canadian. David is a true centre-forward; he’s never scored fewer than 25 goals in recent seasons with Lille. But I’d always pick Vlahovic, I’d even prefer him to Haaland, and I’d say the same about Osimhen, even if I can see him doing well in black and white.”
Vlahovic originally joined Juventus from Fiorentina in the January 2022 transfer window in a deal worth €80 million.
He has since made 145 appearances for the `Old Lady`, scoring a total of 58 goals.
The Serbian forward has reportedly declined a potential move to Fenerbahce and has engaged in discussions with AC Milan coach Massimiliano Allegri, although it is understood that Milan has not yet made official contact with Juventus regarding a transfer.
