On the first day of the tour, the biggest dhow ever constructed Al-Hashemi-II hosted a special function for invited guests exclusively. In the presence of Imran Khwaja, Deputy Chair of ICC, and Haider Farman, President of Kuwait Cricket Club (KCC), the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup Trophy was unveiled.

Following the reveal, there were enticing photo ops to mark the beginning of an exciting adventure. The tour went on to include a number of magnificent events at well-known Kuwaiti landmarks, such as Kuwait Towers, Parliament, Al Hamra Tower, and the Mall, which is Kuwait’s highest structure. 

These sites served as the ideal setting for the tour, which honoured cricket’s imposing presence and extensive worldwide influence. An electric fan activation event at Sulaibiya Cricket Ground marked the end of the Kuwait leg and drew almost 10,000 spectators. The Trophy continued the tour’s voyage to Bahrain, where it stopped at Bahrain Bay, the World Trade Centre, and the King Fahd Causeway, a representational link connecting aspirations.

Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, ICC cricket greats Imran Khwaja and Iqbal Sikander, as well as other respected dignitaries, attended a magnificent unveiling event that evening.
