Real Madrid’s prominent forward, Kylian Mbappé, recently offered his perspective on the club’s chances of advancing past Bayern Munich in the Champions League.
The Spanish giants are fresh off a decisive victory, having eliminated Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City from Europe’s premier club competition. Los Blancos demonstrated their attacking prowess by scoring five goals across the two legs of that tie.
However, their reward for such a strong performance is another formidable challenge: facing Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich in the Champions League quarter-finals. Bayern is widely considered one of the top contenders for the continental title this season and is currently in excellent form.
In a recent interview with Telefoot, Mbappé was questioned about Real Madrid’s prospects against the Bavarian side. The French star’s response exuded confidence:
“Bayern are probably the most in-form team in Europe… But if there’s a team that can beat them, it’s Real Madrid.”
