Discussions surrounding the future of Victor Osimhen continue, with recent reports indicating a significant demand from Napoli: a 20 percent share of any future sale fee as part of a potential €75 million transfer to Galatasaray.
Just like the previous summer, the Nigerian forward`s situation is a major topic, with little real progress being made. This uncertainty is highlighted by Osimhen`s medical note excusing him from Napoli`s pre-season activities.

While Galatasaray is reportedly willing to meet Napoli`s €75 million valuation, the two clubs are still at odds over how the payment should be structured.
According to the latest information, Galatasaray offered an initial payment of €40 million with the remaining €35 million spread across instalments. However, this offer was reportedly rejected by Napoli.
Napoli making fresh demands for Osimhen

Problems persist in the negotiations. Transfer specialist Matteo Moretto suggests Napoli is insisting on receiving the full €35 million outstanding amount by the end of 2026, in addition to a percentage from Galatasaray`s potential future sale of the player.
Providing more specific details, Turkish journalist Yagiz Sabuncuoglu claims this future sell-on percentage is set at 20%. This figure is considered remarkably high given Osimhen`s profile and previous transfer movements.
Napoli has reportedly made multiple attempts to persuade Osimhen to accept an offer from Saudi Arabian club Al-Hilal, but the player is currently unwilling to consider a move to the Saudi Pro League.
