Leeds United has reportedly made a significant offer of €30 million for winger Igor Paixão, who has also been a primary target for Olympique Marseille.
While Paixão had reportedly agreed a five-year contract with Marseille, the French club`s pursuit stalled. Marseille, actively seeking a replacement for Luis Henrique, saw their latest €28 million bid for the player go unanswered by Feyenoord, leading to a standstill in negotiations between the Ligue 1 side and the Eredivisie club.
Capitalizing on Marseille`s stalled efforts, newly promoted Leeds United has now stepped in, submitting a €30 million offer for the talented Brazilian winger. Discussions between Leeds United and Feyenoord are currently underway, as the Yorkshire club aims to secure the player`s services.
Last season, the 25-year-old Paixão showcased impressive form for Feyenoord, contributing a remarkable 16 goals and 10 assists in 34 appearances. His departure from the Dutch club is widely anticipated during the current transfer window.
