Lille OSC is experiencing a dynamic summer transfer period, with significant efforts being made to bolster the squad across multiple positions. While the arrival of veteran French forward Olivier Giroud (38) has dominated headlines, the club`s strategy for success often hinges on identifying and developing promising young talent.
In line with this focus, Lille is actively working to recruit bright teenage prospects from around the globe for their academy. They are reportedly close to finalizing the signing of 18-year-old Cameroon U23 player Angel Yondjo, who is anticipated to undergo his medical examination later today.
According to various reports, Lille has also identified 17-year-old winger Abdul Daramy of FC Copenhagen as a potential target. Abdul is the younger sibling of Stade de Reims` 23-year-old winger, Mohamed Daramy. Despite not yet having made a senior appearance for his current club, the young Daramy is already attracting considerable attention from multiple teams, with PSV Eindhoven reportedly also showing interest. Much like his older brother, Abdul operates on the wings.
