Lille OSC is reportedly engaged in discussions with Tottenham Hotspur regarding a potential loan transfer for the promising 22-year-old Czech goalkeeper, Antonín Kinský. This move comes as the French Ligue 1 club anticipates the departure of their current France international goalkeeper, Lucas Chevalier. Chevalier is a primary target for Champions League winners Paris Saint-Germain, particularly amid ongoing contractual issues involving PSG`s Gianluigi Donnarumma. With reports suggesting Chevalier has already reached a personal agreement with PSG, Lille has been actively seeking a new goalkeeper as a replacement.
While several other goalkeepers were previously considered, including Robin Roefs from NEC Nijmegen, Jeffrey de Lange of Marseille, and Guillaume Restes from Toulouse, Kinský has emerged as Lille`s top priority for a loan deal. Kinský only joined Tottenham six months ago from Slavia Prague and quickly gained significant first-team experience, featuring in ten matches under former Spurs coach Ange Postecoglou when regular starter Gugliemo Vicario was sidelined due to an ankle injury.
