According to recent reports, French club Lyon is close to finalizing a €17 million agreement with Liverpool for the transfer of defensive midfielder Tyler Morton. Lyon has shown strong interest in the 22-year-old Morton for some time, whose current contract with the Reds is nearing its expiry. It is understood that Liverpool, having developed the player through their academy, is prepared to allow him to depart on a permanent basis, with negotiations between the two clubs now in their conclusive stages.
