Olympique Lyonnais recently explored a potential loan deal for Atlético Madrid`s 28-year-old French international, Thomas Lemar. This financial discipline is a direct consequence of the club successfully retaining its Ligue 1 status after facing initial relegation to Ligue 2 by the DNCG, emphasizing the need for fiscal prudence.
