Paris Saint-Germain has reportedly finalized a significant agreement to acquire young defender Illia Zabarnyi. The deal for the 22-year-old Ukrainian international is valued at an impressive €63 million, with Zabarnyi expected to commit to a five-year contract with the reigning European champions.
This high-profile transfer is set to trigger another notable move in the European football market. Bournemouth is now poised to secure the services of French defender Bafodé Diakité from Lille OSC. The 24-year-old has reportedly already reached a personal agreement to join the Vitality Stadium club. The transfer fee for Diakité is anticipated to be around €40 million, with negotiations between Bournemouth and Lille expected to conclude before the end of the current week.
In addition to the acquisition of Zabarnyi, PSG is also reportedly close to completing another transfer from Lille, with goalkeeper Chevalier on the verge of joining the Parisian club.
