Manchester United Eyes Rising Star Dan Sinate for Future

Football & Cricket

Manchester United is reportedly keeping a close watch on Angers` promising 19-year-old full-back, Dan Sinate, with a potential transfer being considered for 2026. According to Konstantinos Lianos of The Sun, Sinate drew significant attention during the Maurice Revello Tournament, held in the South of France in June, where he delivered impressive performances for Mali`s U20 national team. It has been reported that Manchester United`s scouting personnel were present at the tournament, which also saw their current player Sekou Koné, another Mali U20 international, participate.

Despite United`s evident interest, an immediate move for Sinate is not anticipated, largely because he only recently signed his inaugural professional contract with Angers in June. Sinate`s football journey commenced at the AS Monaco Training Centre at the age of 15. There, he honed his skills within their youth ranks, notably featuring in the Coupe Gambardella campaigns with the ASM U19s during the 2022-2023 and 2023-2024 seasons. He subsequently had a brief stint at Spanish club Deportivo Alaves in late 2024 before integrating into Angers` reserve squad in January 2025.

While primarily recognized as a left-back, Sinate possesses valuable versatility, as he is also adept at playing as a central defender or a holding midfielder. This adaptability further enhances his appeal and potential value to top clubs looking for multifaceted talents.
