Luka Modric is slated to arrive in Milan this Monday, marking the commencement of his official duties as a new AC Milan player. This follows his departure from Real Madrid earlier this summer, where he spent 13 remarkable years.
Modric`s Integration into AC Milan
The seasoned midfielder has penned a one-year deal with AC Milan. His delayed integration with Massimiliano Allegri`s squad was due to an extended break granted after Real Madrid`s participation in the FIFA Club World Cup semi-final in July.
According to reports from Gianluca Di Marzio, Modric is anticipated to land in Milan on Monday. As previously reported over the weekend, the 39-year-old is scheduled to address the media later that afternoon, around 5:00 PM local time (4:00 PM BST).

Following his press conference, Modric is expected to visit the flagship AC Milan store on Via Dante. There, he will participate in a photo session and is projected to be met by a substantial gathering of enthusiastic supporters.
His first physical assessments as an AC Milan player are scheduled for Tuesday morning at the club`s training ground. Later that afternoon, he is set to join the first-team training session for the very first time.
Manager Allegri has provided the Milan squad with a three-day respite after their recent pre-season tour across Asia and Australia. The tour saw them narrowly lose 1-0 to Arsenal, secure a promising 4-2 victory against reigning Premier League champions Liverpool, and deliver an overwhelming 9-0 defeat to Perth Glory in Australia.

The Rossoneri have two remaining pre-season friendlies: one against Leeds United in Dublin this coming weekend, and another against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
The competitive season will kick off with a Coppa Italia first-round fixture at home against Bari on August 17, followed by their inaugural Serie A match of the season against newly-promoted Cremonese on August 24.
