AS Monaco will travel to Belgium on Thursday facing significant squad challenges. Denis Zakaria is the latest player to be sidelined due to injury as the team prepares to kick off their UEFA Champions League campaign against Club Brugge.

According to head coach Adi Hutter, Zakaria sustained an adductor injury during Wednesday morning`s training session and will be out for several weeks. This news comes shortly after the announcement that Aleksandr Golovin, who missed Monaco`s 2-1 victory over AJ Auxerre last weekend, will be unavailable for approximately a month. Mohammed Salisu participated in that match but picked up a minor knock and will also miss the upcoming game. Krépin Diatta and Paris Brunner are ineligible for the competition.
