Just a month after joining FC Nantes, Serbian central defender Uros Radakovic, aged 31, is reportedly already facing an early departure from the club, as per information from Ouest-France. The seasoned 31-year-old player had arrived at Nantes as a free agent, signing a two-year contract after his deal with Sivasspor concluded. His acquisition followed Nicolas Pallois` departure from the squad.
Regrettably, Radakovic`s tenure under Luis Castro`s management at Nantes seems destined to be brief. His struggles during Les Canaris` pre-season campaign were evident, highlighted by an incident where he conceded a penalty against Guingamp in a friendly match. These performance issues have led the club`s technical staff to consider placing him on the transfer list.
Furthermore, the report indicates that Nantes` recruitment department is actively seeking a resolution for Radakovic, effectively encouraging his departure. He has been relegated to the bench for Nantes` recent three pre-season fixtures and is once again named as a substitute for their upcoming match against fellow Ligue 1 side, Angers.
