Beyond acquiring new talent, Napoli is focused on retaining the core players who were instrumental in their Scudetto victory, specifically Matteo Politano, Amir Rrahmani, and André Frank Zambo Anguissa.

This summer, the Partenopei have made significant investments in new players, aiming to bolster their squad as they prepare to defend their Serie A title and compete in both the Champions League and Supercoppa Italiana. Nonetheless, the club is not overlooking the crucial players who initially brought them championship success.

Napoli has successfully finalized and signed an extension with Politano, securing his services until June 2028, following negotiations over recent weeks.

Defender Rrahmani is next in line, with the club aiming to extend his contract until June 2029.

Efforts are also underway to retain midfielder Anguissa. Although his current contract automatically extends to June 2027, the club`s objective is to secure him for an even longer period.
