Various reports indicate that Napoli has finalized an agreement with Torino for the acquisition of goalkeeper Vanja Milinkovic-Savic. The agreed transfer fee surpasses the player`s previously stipulated release clause.
Milinkovic-Savic Transfer to Napoli Confirmed
The clubs had established an agreement for a permanent transfer earlier this week, with all remaining details concluded today. Although the tall Serbian goalkeeper had a €19 million release clause in his contract, Napoli consented to a €21 million fee, allowing them to disburse the payment over four years.

The 28-year-old is expected to offer robust backup and challenge for the starting position alongside Alex Meret. Meret recently extended his contract until the summer of 2027, ensuring manager Antonio Conte will have two top-tier goalkeepers available for the 2025-26 season.
Milinkovic-Savic`s arrival marks the sixth new acquisition for the Partenopei this summer. He joins a list of recent signings including Kevin De Bruyne, Luca Marianucci, Lorenzo Lucca, Noa Lang, and Sam Beukema.
