Naseem Shah’s to Miss out on The ICC World Cup 2023 Due to Serious Shoulder Injury

Another bad news for Pakistani cricket fans is that Pakistan’s speedy bowler, Naseem Shah, is facing a tough setback as scans from tests in Dubai show his right shoulder injury is worse than initially thought. There’s a chance he might miss the entire World Cup. The Pakistan Cricket Board is looking for a second opinion, but it seems this injury could keep him out of action for the rest of the year. Remember, that Harris Rauf was also benched for the last two matches of the Asia Cup.

Naseem Shah left the field against India in the 49th over of the match after bowling the first bowl. Iftikhar Ahmad completed the remaining over. He was carrying the injury from the match against Bangladesh.

“Should secondary results back up the initial ones, Naseem, 20, is looking at a layoff spanning several months which means his participation in the Test series in Australia at the turn of the year is in doubt, as well as the next Pakistan Super League also in grave doubt,” it added. “Geo Super”

The quest for optimal care for Naseem is now in the hands of medical maestros, diligently dissecting his condition. The cricketing compass, wielded by the PCB’s medical minds, shall chart the course of the young fast bowler’s return to the sport, guided by forthcoming evaluations.

Now, what other options PCB can think of if Naseem is not available for the mega event next month? Ijsanullah, Zaman Khan, Shahnawaz Dhani, Hasan Ali, and Muhammad Husnain are the other options that PCB can consider before finalizing the team squad for the ICC World Cup 2023. Zaman Khan has already joined the in Sri Lanka.

Another problem for Pakistan is that their spin bowling department is not performing the it should. Shadab Khan is leaking runs without creating any impact. Muhammad Nawaz is also looking for his bowling form.

We hope that Naseem Shah will be in the 15-member squad for the World Cup 2023. His presence is very important for Pakistan’s survival in the mega event.
