Nottingham Forest has reportedly entered discussions with Swiss winger Dan Ndoye regarding personal terms for a potential five-year contract. This development places them in a similar position to Napoli, as neither club has yet reached an agreement on a transfer fee with Bologna for the player.
The attacking winger made a significant impact last season, contributing eight goals and four assists in 30 Serie A appearances, playing a key role in Bologna`s strong domestic campaign.
Despite long-standing speculation linking him to Napoli and Ndoye`s apparent eagerness for a move to the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona, Bologna remains resolute, unwilling to let him depart without a substantial offer.

A sudden twist in the transfer narrative emerged recently, with multiple sources, including Sky Sport Italia and Sky Sports Deutschland, reporting that Nottingham Forest has now agreed to personal terms for a five-year deal with Ndoye.
However, the primary hurdle persists: Bologna has not yet received a formal transfer bid and is not particularly motivated to sell the 24-year-old at this juncture.
The key question now revolves around whether Nottingham Forest`s eventual offer will be sufficient to sway Bologna`s decision. Should both Napoli and Forest present comparable bids, Ndoye`s ultimate preference – a move to Naples or Nottingham – will likely dictate his next destination.
The Switzerland international has also attracted attention from German club Borussia Dortmund over the summer.
