Newcastle Intensifies Pursuit of Randal Kolo Muani, Rivaling Tottenham

Football & Cricket

Newcastle United has reportedly made Paris Saint-Germain`s Randal Kolo Muani, 26, their primary transfer target. This strategic move comes after their unsuccessful attempt to sign Benjamin Šeško, 22, who has since committed to Manchester United.

Despite a substantial €95 million transfer in the summer of 2023, Kolo Muani appears to have no long-term future at PSG. He spent the latter part of the 2024/25 season on loan at Juventus, where he notably regained his form after a challenging period in the French capital.

Beyond Kolo Muani, Newcastle is reportedly exploring other attacking options. They are also said to be interested in another PSG forward, Gonçalo Ramos, with Chelsea`s Nicolas Jackson and Aston Villa`s Ollie Watkins also on their radar as potential reinforcements.

However, Newcastle faces significant competition for Kolo Muani`s signature. Tottenham Hotspur has previously been linked with the French international, viewing him as a potential reinforcement for their frontline, having admired the striker`s capabilities for some time.
