Steyn has earlier predicted that NED will upset at some point in the ICC Cricket World Cup, India. Will they stun NZ today? It’s quite earlier to say anything.

Aryan Dutt opens the bowling for NED as Davon Conway and Will Young come in the middle. Interesting Conway has on eof the best average against spin in ASIA with 233 still NED go with Dutt against him which will going to be an interesting battle between them.

At the end of the first successful power play for NZ they make 63 for none at 6.3. Both openers look in perfect control until van der Marwe strikes in his 3rd over when NZ are 67 in 12. Conway’s gone for 32 off 40 at wide of long-on where de Leede picks an easy catch.

Will Young carries the innings for NZ but Meekeren dismisses him on 70 off 80 striking at 87.5 and hit seven 4s and two 6s when he tries to pull the ball but miscues it to mid-on fielder. Bas de Leede takes his second catch of the day and continues his WC journey in style.

Roelof van der Marwe strikes again for his team and this time in-form Rachin Ravindra goes for 51 off 51. Rachin tickles the ball and Edwards grabs it easily behind the stumps. NZ are 3 down for 185 at 32.2.

The onset of last 10 overs prove deadly for NZ as well-settled Daryl Mitchell is cleaned bowled by van Meekeren on very first ball of the 41st over of ICC WC23. Mitchell misses the off-cutter from Meekeren which hits the top of the middle stumps. NZ are 238 for 4 in 40.1. Mitchell goes for his 48 off 47 striking at 102.

In the very next over, the last man hero against PAK match, de Leede takes his first wicket of the game and this time Glenn Philips is caught behind and sent back to the dugout. NED are on top now with 2 quick wickets. NZ are 5 down for 248 in 42 with 8 overs to go.

Aryan Dutt grabs his first of the match when Chapman tries to whack that over backward point. Dutt again strikes in his last over and sends skipper back to the pavilion. He finishes his quota of 10 overs with 62 for 2.
