Official: Ahmed Hassan Departs Le Havre AC

Football & Cricket

Ahmed Hassan, the 32-year-old Egyptian forward, has departed Le Havre AC after a brief but impactful six-month spell. Hassan initially joined the club in January on a short-term deal, arriving as a free agent following the expiration of his contract with Rio Ave last summer. His primary objective was to help secure Le Havre`s status in the top flight, a mission he successfully completed.

During his tenure at the Normandy-based club, Hassan made 16 appearances, scoring three crucial goals that directly contributed seven points to Le Havre`s campaign. These decisive goals played a vital role in the team securing their Ligue 1 survival on the final day of the season.

Le Havre AC officially confirmed Hassan`s exit, acknowledging that the Egypt international had “completed his mission” by helping them achieve their objective. Notably, two of his goals secured narrow victories against RC Lens and Lille OSC, with the third coming in a 1-1 draw against AS Monaco. Hassan is now once again available as a free agent.
