Spanish La Liga club Getafe officially confirmed on Monday a permanent new addition to their attacking lineup.
The player in question, who has now sealed his future with the Azulones, is Martín Satriano.
The versatile forward, Satriano, initially joined Getafe during the January transfer window on a six-month loan agreement from French club Lyon.
Since his arrival, the Uruguayan international quickly established himself as a success, earning widespread acclaim for his performances.
In his 10 appearances so far, Satriano has scored three goals, notably netting a crucial winner in their 1-0 victory against Real Madrid.
These impactful contributions were more than enough to persuade the Getafe management at the Estadio Coliseum of his potential to be a long-term asset in Madrid.
The club officially announced the permanent deal through its social media channels on Monday, confirming an agreement with Olympique Lyonnais for Satriano’s transfer. The Uruguayan forward has committed to a contract lasting for the remainder of the current season plus an additional four years.
