AS Monaco football club has officially announced the contract extension with forward Mika Biereth (22) until June 2030. This decision comes as a reward for the Danish striker`s outstanding breakthrough season in 2024-2025. Last summer, Monaco acquired the London-born player for a reported fee of €13 million, plus an additional €2 million in bonuses.
Biereth quickly settled in the Principality, scoring 13 goals and providing 2 assists in just 16 Ligue 1 matches, thereby helping Monaco secure Champions League qualification for the second consecutive season. His performance set a 21st-century record: no other winter signing has scored as many goals in a single Ligue 1 campaign.
