OGC Nice faces a mixed medical outlook ahead of their Saturday match against Stade Brestois.
Manager Franck Haise confirmed that Moise Bombito and Mohamed Ali-Cho are fit and available for selection for the upcoming away game in Brittany. Neither player has featured for Nice this season until now, making their return a welcome boost for the squad.
While these returns bolster Haise`s squad options, the team will once again miss captain Dante. He experienced discomfort in his left knee during early week training, the same knee he injured previously against SL Benfica. Haise aims for Dante`s return to training next week, emphasizing that his season will require careful management.
“We know that, with Dante, it will be day by day. We will have to see how he reacts after each match. That will be a part of his season.”
Haise`s statement underscores the cautious approach needed for the veteran defender. This season marks Dante’s farewell to professional football, a decision he has already announced, adding a layer of sentiment to his current injury management.
