OGC Nice is reportedly open to the sale of midfielder Hicham Boudaoui (25) this summer, according to L`Équipe. Previous reports from the same publication indicated that Nice is seeking a substantial transfer fee for the Algerian international.
Boudaoui was a regular starter for Le Gym during Franck Haise`s inaugural season. Nice`s midfield could undergo significant changes this summer. Pablo Rosario is expected to depart, and Tanguy Ndombélé, though anticipated to remain, will miss the beginning of the season recovering from surgery for a sports hernia that has troubled him since late 2024.
While Boudaoui`s exit is a possibility, Nice will only sanction a sale if their valuation is met. L`Équipe reported in early July that a Bundesliga club inquired about Boudaoui and was quoted a €30 million price tag. It remains uncertain if this valuation will deter potential suitors, but Nice is receptive to a transfer at an appropriate price.
Conversely, the club has no intention of selling Melvin Bard or Mohamed Ali-Cho. Coach Haise views these two players as crucial components for the upcoming campaign and plans to heavily rely on them.
