OGC Nice Make Offer for Ghanaian Defender Kojo Peprah Oppong

Football & Cricket

OGC Nice have reportedly submitted an offer for Kojo Peprah Oppong, a 21-year-old Ghanaian central defender.

Following the recent acquisition of Swedish forward Isak Jansson, Nice seem to be focusing on the Scandinavian market, with Oppong becoming the latest player from the region linked with a move to the club.

Oppong began his career at the De Visser Academy in Ghana. He transferred to Swedish side IFK Norrköping (Allsvenskan) in February 2022. After making a few first-team appearances, he was loaned out to Superettan club GIF Sundsvall in August 2023. He accumulated a total of 42 appearances across two loan spells before returning to Norrköping in December 2024.

As the Swedish league operates during the summer, Oppong is currently playing for Norrköping in the Allsvenskan. He has appeared in 13 matches for the club this season.

The potential transfer fee for Oppong has not been disclosed.
