Olympique Marseille is reportedly facing difficulties in offloading midfielder Azzedine Ounahi (25) this summer, as per a report from L`Équipe. The Moroccan international, who joined the club in 2023 from Angers SCO, is being encouraged to find a new club, much to the frustration of the French side.
Marseille has set a €12 million price tag on Ounahi, whose contract extends until 2027. Spartak Moscow met this valuation in June, but Ounahi declined the move, effectively vetoing the transfer to the Russian club. L`Équipe indicates that the midfielder has consistently turned down all transfer offers presented to him so far.
There have been reports linking Ounahi to a return to Panathinaikos in Greece, where he previously enjoyed a successful loan spell and became a firm fan favorite. Additionally, Premier League club Brighton & Hove Albion, who have long admired the player, are also showing interest in securing his services.
