FC Porto, a prominent club in Liga Portugal, has officially announced the acquisition of OGC Nice midfielder Pablo Rosario, 28. The Dominican Republic international has committed to a four-year contract with the Dragons and will don the number 13 jersey. This move comes as Rosario was in the final months of his five-year agreement with Nice, originally signed in 2021. The French club is anticipated to receive a transfer fee of €4 million for his services.
Rosario`s departure from OGC Nice had been anticipated throughout the summer, with the midfielder even training separately from Franck Haise’s squad amidst discussions with other clubs. He represents the latest significant player to exit Les Aiglons this transfer window, following Marcin Bulka, Gaëtan Laborde, and Evann Guessand. Notably, at FC Porto, Rosario will be reunited with his former Nice coach, Francesco Farioli.
