Pakistan takes on Australia in the ICC World Cup warm-up match. Australia won the toss and elected to bat first. Warner and March provided Australia with a magnificent start, even though Shaheen and Hasan Ali didn’t give Australian openers to open their hands. After 8 overs, Australia were 34 for 0. But the next two overs gave them 30 runs and they ended the first powerplay with 64 runs on the board without any loss.
In the second power play, Pakistan made a comeback. Usama Mir was the pick of the bowler for Pakistan. In his first over he got rid of the dangerous Warner for 48 and in his second over Mitchell Marsh became his victim. In his five-over spell, he conceded 31 runs for 2 wickets.
Shaheen Shah Afridi and Hasan Ali were the other bowlers who bowled very well. Even though neither of them has got any wickets they ball economically. Shaheen gave 25 runs in his 6 overs. Hasan Ali was economical and gave 23 runs in his 6 overs.
Shadab Khan, Haris Rauf, and Muhammad Waseem were so expensive. Shadab Khan took one wicket for 69 runs in his 10 overs. Haris Rauf the pacer got one wicket and gave away 97 runs in his 9 overs. Muhammad Nawaz gave run a ball for his single wicket in 6 overs. Pakistan controlled the match very well till the 30th over. But Maxwell, Inglis, and Green socred around 180 runs in the last 21 overs. Australia was 172/5 in 29.1 overs. A great comeback for Australia.
