Pakistan won the toss against Afghanistan and decided to bat first. Pakistan started slowly looking at the pitch. Imam and Abdullah added a decent partnership of 56 runs. Afghanistan came up with 4 spinners to tackle Pakistan. And they did so by taking important wickets at regular intervals. But Pakistan made sure one thing not to slip the match totally out of their hands. It will not be easy to chase down 283 on this spinning track.
Babar played a captain inning today. When he joined the crease, Pakistan was in a good position but then they started losing wickets after Abdullah Shafique got for 58 on the total of 110 on the board. Babar Azam scored 74 runs facing 92 balls with the help of 4 fours and a maximum.

All Afghan spinners bowled exceptionally well. Noor Ahmad impressed everyone with his mystery bowling. Muhammad Nabi was economical along with a wicket. Rashid Khan didn’t get any wickets today and Mujeeb was a bit expensive. It’s a must-win game for both teams to stay in the tournament.
