According to reports from L’Équipe, newly-promoted Paris FC has reportedly joined Stade Rennais in the pursuit of 30-year-old Polish international defender, Przemyslaw Frankowski. Frankowski is currently with Galatasaray and previously played for Lens.
The Polish footballer, who made a move to the Turkish club last winter on a loan deal that included a mandatory €10 million purchase clause, is now said to be back on the transfer market. This development follows a challenging period where he seemingly struggled to secure a consistent place in Galatasaray`s starting lineup.
Stade Rennais has reportedly identified Frankowski as a priority target for the current transfer window. They are actively engaged in negotiations for a potential loan agreement that would include an option for a permanent transfer. However, the competition for his signature appears to be intensifying.
Paris FC, having recently secured promotion to the top flight, views Frankowski as a valuable acquisition. The Parisian club is keen to bolster their squad with experienced players who are already familiar with the demands and dynamics of Ligue 1. Furthermore, Frankowski`s former club, Racing Club de Lens, is also reportedly considering a move to facilitate the return of their ex-defender.
