Parma`s efforts to sign Giovanni Reyna have ultimately failed, as the USMNT midfielder is set to undergo a medical with Borussia Monchengladbach tomorrow. The Italian club had pursued the talented US international for several weeks, but intense negotiations did not yield a breakthrough, prompting Parma to explore alternative transfer options.
Parma Unable to Finalize Reyna Deal
Reports from several prominent transfer experts, including Sacha Tavolieri, Gianluca Di Marzio, and Fabrizio Romano, confirm that Reyna has chosen to join Borussia Monchengladbach. This move ensures Reyna`s continued presence in the Bundesliga, as he departs Borussia Dortmund. The transfer fee is reported to be between €2 million and €3.5 million, with additional add-ons.
The 22-year-old attacking midfielder is scheduled for a medical examination with his new club on Saturday, followed by the signing of his contract. His existing contract with Borussia Dortmund was due to expire at the end of the current season.
