Pastorello highlighted that while both players possess the quality to be starters, Inter`s squad rotation strategy this season is more dynamic compared to the previous one. Contract Renewals for De Vrij and Acerbi
The agent confirmed that official discussions regarding contract extensions for de Vrij and Acerbi are scheduled to commence in April. He reiterated that both players are settled and would be pleased to continue their careers at Inter, but acknowledged that such decisions depend on various complex factors. Krstovic joined La Dea during the summer transfer window, stepping in to replace Mateo Retegui, who transferred to the Saudi Pro League following an impressive 2024-25 season in Bergamo. Pastorello expressed strong confidence in Krstovic, praising his resolute mentality and clear career objectives. He believes Krstovic maximized his opportunities at Lecce and has now progressed to a top-tier club. While Atalanta may not match the sheer scale of some other European powerhouses, Pastorello asserted that the club’s aspirations align perfectly with Krstovic’s personal goals, as well as those of the Percassi family, the club`s owners. The agent is optimistic that Krstovic will enjoy a long and successful tenure at Atalanta, contributing to future trophy wins.
