Pat Cummins of Australia discusses the Pakistani team ICC Cricket World Cup 2023. Australia hopes to defeat Pakistan in tomorrow’s match in order to advance to the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 semi-finals. With two points from three games, the five-time champs are now at seventh in the standings.
The team’s campaign got off to a terrible start as they lost one game after another. They suffered a 134-run hammering at the hands of South Africa at the Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow after losing to India by six wickets at Chepauk Stadium in Chennai.
Pakistan, however, is in fourth place and has a chance to go to the semifinals. Thus far, they have four points.
At the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad, Babar Azam’s team defeated the Netherlands by 81 runs to start the match on a positive note. At the same location, they defeated Sri Lanka by six wickets.
Their lone loss came at the hands of India at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, when they were defeated by seven wickets.
Pat Cummins, the captain of Australia, discussed the match at a press conference. The top all-around player stated the Green Shirts are a surprising team that can win it all during the media session.
He highlighted the quality of Pakistani wicketkeeper Muhammad Rizwan and captain Babar Azam, saying the latter is in excellent form.
He also discussed his thoughts on the most recent performances of bowler Shaheen Afridi. Although he doesn’t appear to be in form, the left-arm fast bowler is a top player, according to Australia.

In reference to the conditions in Bangalore, Pat Cummins stated that hitters take to the field well and anticipate playing on a decent pitch.
He forecast that there will be plenty of upsets and surprises at the 2023 ICC Cricket World Cup. He was hoping Australia would play Pakistan very well.
