Former Juventus midfielder Miralem Pjanic has strongly urged his old club, the Bianconeri, to bolster their midfield by acquiring Sandro Tonali, asserting that the Newcastle star is “precisely what they need.”
Juventus has been actively seeking midfield reinforcements for several weeks, a pursuit that remains independent of any recent complications involving potential targets like Douglas Luiz.
Sandro Tonali was previously linked with a transfer to Juventus before the season concluded, back when Cristiano Giuntoli was serving as the club`s director.
Pjanic Recommends Tonali to Juventus from Newcastle

Despite Damien Comolli now overseeing operations at the Allianz Stadium, Pjanic maintains his conviction that Juventus should still pursue Tonali.
“I would sign Tonali; a player of his caliber is worth the investment. He is Italian and possesses immense potential,” Pjanic told Gazzetta. He further highlighted Tonali`s attributes, stating, “He achieved success with AC Milan and has consistently refined his game in England. He embodies humility, strength, and a touch of class – precisely what Juventus requires.”
Meanwhile, Juventus has undergone significant internal restructuring, appointing François Modesto as the new technical director and elevating Giorgio Chiellini to a more influential position within the club.
Pjanic Shares Thoughts on Chiellini and Allegri

Pjanic, a former teammate of Chiellini at Juventus, expressed his enduring affection for the club: “Juventus will always hold a special place in my heart. I am delighted to see Giorgio back; he instills stability and a strong sense of identity, earning respect from both players and supporters.”
He further added, “Chiello`s profound love for Juventus, coupled with his deep understanding of the club`s history and locker room dynamics, will make him an invaluable asset.”
Having played 135 matches under Massimiliano Allegri at Juventus – more than under any other coach – Pjanic was asked about his expectations for AC Milan, given Allegri`s recent appointment as their new boss.
The former Juventus and Roma midfielder responded, “I frequently communicate with Max; we shared remarkable years together at Juventus. He is a dear friend, and it is truly wonderful to see him at Milan. In Italy, he and Antonio Conte stand out as the most accomplished coaches. Few can manage pressure as effectively as Allegri. While Milan`s primary objective is a top-four finish, having someone of Max`s caliber on the bench naturally raises expectations even higher.”
