According to reports from Record, Portuguese club FC Porto is once again showing keen interest in OGC Nice`s experienced midfielder, Pablo Rosario, who is 28 years old. Porto had previously considered a move for Rosario during the January transfer window and is now reportedly set to reignite its pursuit under the guidance of new manager Francesco Farioli.
Rosario embarked on his senior football journey in the Netherlands with Almere City FC before making a significant move to PSV Eindhoven in July 2016. After initially developing with Jong PSV in the Eerste Divisie, he swiftly integrated into the first team. During his four seasons in the Eredivisie, Rosario amassed an impressive 138 appearances for PSV.
In July 2021, Rosario transferred permanently to Nice. Since then, he has been a consistent presence for the Ligue 1 club, featuring in 148 matches. He notably wore the captain`s armband for the team`s final two fixtures of the 2024–25 season.
Although he earned one senior cap for the Netherlands, Pablo Rosario made the decision to switch his international allegiance to the Dominican Republic in 2025.
However, L’Equipe indicates that Nice and Porto are currently far from reaching an agreement regarding the player`s transfer.
